- Event Planning- coordinating logistics of parlor meetings and other events
- Recruiting for Poker Night and assisting at the event
- Selling Journal Ads for Gala in June
- Engaging in frequent phone and email correspondence with Board members and other Major Donors
- Managing production and distribution of occasional mailings
- Managing information within and pulling reports from the donor database
- Preparing mailing lists
- Maintaining, preparing, and distributing call and task lists at various times
- Various office management responsibilities

Hillel's New York City Director of Development seeks a full-time student intern to support the fundraising team. The fundraising team interacts with New York donors who are connected to Hillel as well as reaches out to new donors.  The New York office is also developing a New York Committee, Young Leadership Division, Women’s Division and Wall Street Division for various events throughout the year.  The student intern will help the team in these and other new efforts.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Web and research.
A positive, upbeat attitude with determination to reach the end goal.  Intern should be flexible to the job description changing and ready to learn new skills.
