Loving New York, the city he was born in, Calvin Yoskowitz never considered going away for college. Following in his brother's footsteps, he chose Manhattanville College as his home away from home. Also following his brother, he joined the Jewish Student Association his freshman year. Currently a senior studying English with a Film Studies concentration, Calvin has juggled a love for writing and film while progressively becoming more interested and involved with Jewish campus life.

Believing that his Birthright trip in 2010 was the major catalyst for his Jewish commitment resurgence on and off campus, Calvin feels humbled by the opportunity as this year's club President to make the JSA a powerful resource for practicing Judaism as well as embracing the opportunities and responsibilities that come with being Jewish young adults.

Calvin hopes his journey to expand the JSA's role at Manhattanville will also revive his bond with the greater Jewish community and build a deeper spiritual connection to his faith.
